Keokuk County Solid Waste and Recycling Center south of Sigourney is operating regular hours, Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday 8 to noon. You do not need to get out of the vehicle. You will need to disinfect any items you drop off. The staff will wear gloves.
PELLA:
The Bibles for Missions Thrift Center in Pella is open for business. The hours are as follows: Mon, Tues, wed, and Fri 10AM - 5PM; Thurs. 11AM - 6PM; and Sat 10AM - 2PM. The following restrictions remain in effect: no public restrooms available; no dressing rooms available; and no children under the age of 16 with the exclusion of infants in carseats.
Pella Food Shelf at The Well is open every Tuesday from 8 to 9:30 am, and from 6 to 7 pm. Food is distributed in a drive through manner. Register on the east side, and receive your food on the south end of the building.

A new policy at Menards is preventing children from entering the stores for the time being. Children under 16 years of age will temporarily not be allowed into Menards. The store also won't be allowing pets. Service animals, however, will be allowed.
The Ottumwa Public Library is closed until further notice. Patrons are invited to check out the Ottumwa Public Library Facebook page to do a Music and Movement class with Youth Services Librarian Allyson. Free public wi-fi is still available and accessible from the library's parking lot. Due dates have been extended until May 1.
